Welcome to the Nordic Bioenergy Project Website

The Nordic Bioenergy Project Website was developed as part of the project "Opportunities and consequences of an expanding bioenergy market in the Nordic countries", which was launched and financed by the Nordic Council of Minsiters and implemented during 2007 - 2008. The aim of the website has been to help coordinate bioenergy activities in the Nordic countries and improve the visibility of existing and future Nordic solutions in the bioenergy area.

The website offers an overview of Nordic initiatives, reports, information resources, links to key actors in the bioenergy sector and information about up-coming events.

It is intended that the website will continue to function as a coordinating platform for Nordic bioenergy information, after the completion of the initial project. We will gladly assist in disseminating information from your bioenergy initiatives, publish reports, post invitations to up-coming events. Please contact us with requests and suggestions.

The project "Opportunities and consequences of an expanding bioenergy market in the Nordic countries" is now in the process of being finalised and the final report will be submitted to the relevant Nordic Council of Ministers for review. During the project, a wealth of data and analyses have been presented on this website, as well as at 2 workshops. Reports and materials from the workshops are published in the results section.
