EU launches public consultation on biomass sustainability scheme
New IEA ReportThe final report of Task 41, Project 2 is now available. It indicates that there are significant gaps in the research of 2nd Generation Transportation Biofuels. DONG Energy plans to construct a second-generation bioethanol demonstration plant at Kalundborg with the support of a DKK 22.5 million grant from the Danish Government’s Programme for Energy research – EFP, which supports research and technological development in the energy area. The European Biofuels Technology Platform has published its draft combined Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) and Strategy Deployment Document (SDD) and launched its Public Consultation process.
