Study trip

The Energy Farm is an information and learning centre for bioenergy and is a demonstration facility for the entire bioenergy chain from production, harvesting, drying to the use of biofuels. The centre plays an important role in promoting bioenergy and furthering knowledge and understanding of bioenergy both among specialists, students, decision-makers and the general public. The centre has strong links with national and international bioenergy research environments.

Special thanks to Erik Eid Hohle, who received the Nordic Council of Ministers Bioenergy Prize 2007, for organising this study tour.

The following section provides further information and photos of the study trip.
