Nordic Bioenergy Project

Bioenergy is high on the energy policy agenda and a wealth of activities at local, regional, Nordic and international level is ongoing. The Nordic Bioenergy Project was launched with the aim to help coordinate bioenergy activities in the Nordic countries and improve the visibility of existing and future Nordic solutions in the complex field of bioenergy, energy security, competing uses of resources and land, regional development and environmental impacts.

The Project is operating from May 2007 to May 2008 and is an initiative by the Nordic Council of Ministers, coordinated by the Nordic Energy Research with assistance from Econ Pöyry.

The project is currently in the process of being finalised.
